Privacy notice
Privacy at Credalume
This notice describes the Credalume automated self-service SaaS, including the public free snapshot, signed-in reports, provider-test checkout, exports, and comparisons.
Data you submit
The audit accepts a public URL or pasted marketing text. Signed-in delivery records also contain the purchase email, plan, order reference, entitlement, usage credits, generated report, and delivery status. Do not submit personal data, confidential information, credentials, private documents, payment-card information, wallet recovery phrases, API secrets, or content you are not authorized to analyze.
How submitted content is used
Submitted content is used to produce the requested audit. A free snapshot is returned in the request and is not intentionally saved in Credalume’s customer database. For a provider-verified or owner-simulated order, Credalume saves the submitted URL or text, generated report, entitlement, credit usage, and delivery record so the customer can retrieve the product, export it, compare eligible saved reports, and use included rescans.
Public-page retrieval
When you submit a URL, Credalume requests the public HTML of that page with an identifiable audit user agent. The target website can see the request according to its own logging and privacy practices.
Local preferences
The interactive audit may store the selected interface language in your browser’s local storage. It does not require an advertising cookie. Clearing site data removes that preference.
Private report links and accounts
Paid-delivery reports can be opened through a signed-in customer account or a long, randomly generated private link with an expiry date. Anyone who receives an unexpired private link may be able to open that report, so do not forward it publicly. Contact support if a link should be revoked.
Service providers and international processing
Hosting, identity, security, support, and billing providers may process limited data in the countries where they operate. Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, tax data, and purchase receipts in provider test mode and, if approved, will do so for live orders under its own notices. Credalume does not collect raw card numbers, wallet recovery phrases, or exchange credentials.
Retention
Free snapshot content is not intentionally retained in the customer database. Signed-in order, entitlement, submitted source, report, credit, and delivery records are retained while needed to provide the purchased access, resolve support or billing issues, and meet applicable legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized under the applicable retention process. Security and infrastructure logs may be retained for a limited operational period by the relevant provider.
Your choices and requests
You may use pasted text instead of allowing Credalume to fetch a public URL. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, email support@credalume.com. Credalume may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant record.
Children
Credalume is intended for business users who are at least 18 years old and is not directed to children.
